Oh god the foot thing! My feet, especially my left one,(there’s a film in there somewhere🤔), are ridiculously sensitive! When I transition from boots to sandals, which in Scotland is very sudden, they just lose it! I have a whole stash of compeed blister plasters at the ready 🥴
I have a file which looks like it’s from a blacksmiths to keep the callouses at bay. My grandchildren peer at my feet like they’re archeological specimens 😄
No one warns you of this do they! I still have welts on the backs of my heels from wearing high sandals to my daughter's graduation - 3 weeks ago. Of course it was WELL worth it! Why did we not appreciate our pretty dainty young feet... x

May I add … the plantar fasciitis chat that is frequently a topic of conversation amongst my 50s and 60s friends - (Hoka and Cloud Slides recommended)… and then the strange middle-age development of toenails growing upwards at a slight angle, hence no amount of trimming and filing will prevent them from catching on your socks / bedding!
Thanks Julie! I'd forgotten about the plantar gripes - common among my running mates. I have yet to experience the weird angle toenail growth but suspect it's just around the corner! x

Lily Allen has just started selling photos of hers on ‘Only Fans’ hasn’t she? Mine would definitely attract the sinister underbelly of the foot fancying world. They’re nasty 😂😂
You got them out once! Laughing. And yes - holiday glamour. We had a lazy day yesterday so I wore my nightie all day - inside and out - accessorised by Jimmy's flat cap as I'd burned my forehead on boat trip. I really am Sophia Loren on holiday. xx
